dKol Believes-Embryo Transfer: Part 6

There have been several changes to the original plan for Kerri and Chris's second embryo transfer date. The most important lesson/reason that I've walked away with from the delay is this:

Be your own advocate. Trust your body. Listen to your intuition. And speak UP.

dKol Challenging Herself

What is confidence and empowerment and how does it affect YOU. You, as in the generalized you, the one that isn't gender specific. For me, it looks something like this: my vision for la femme with a twist (maybe twist isn't the right word, because it's intended to showcase equality as in a common language and occurrence). With that said, I wanted to photograph a male's session with the same values la femme has and translate it visually in a similar way.

But now it's got me thinking deeper, how can I create a genderless la femme? The message would remain the same and the intended outcome would be the same as well. Do you see the vision and can you relate to the outcome?

dKol and Sam's Barber Shop

Awhile back I took some photos of Sam and his shop, but this isn't about that. This entry is about realness.

So many things come to mind when I think of Sam's Barber Shop-passionate, enthusiastic, motivated, hardworking, thoughtful, creative, zen, community...when I meet people like him, I can't help but wish good things for them.
