dKol Commercial & Rooster Studios

Here are the latest creations by Rooster Studios. For several years now, dKol and Rooster have been collaborating on updating her storefront with fresh stylized photography that best showcases her intricate work and gorgeous array of discarded trees turned heirlooms. Jennifer, owner/creator/skilled woodturner, offers a wide selection of handmade artisan wood gifts for the chef, master gardener, fiber artisan, canning extraordinaire, host or special someone in your life.

Take a peek, they won't disappoint.

dKol Challenging Herself

What is confidence and empowerment and how does it affect YOU. You, as in the generalized you, the one that isn't gender specific. For me, it looks something like this: my vision for la femme with a twist (maybe twist isn't the right word, because it's intended to showcase equality as in a common language and occurrence). With that said, I wanted to photograph a male's session with the same values la femme has and translate it visually in a similar way.

But now it's got me thinking deeper, how can I create a genderless la femme? The message would remain the same and the intended outcome would be the same as well. Do you see the vision and can you relate to the outcome?

dKol and Organic Hudson Valley

Here is a sample of some of my very best editorial work featured in Organic Hudson Valley Magazine. The magazine affords me the opportunity to work with many local businesses that are either new to launch or flourishing to new heights. Community and the fellowship it fosters is top notch and I've met amazing business owners along the way. The magazine has introduced me to more commercial branding clients than ever before.

Take a look at my commercial portfolio. Do you see yourself needing guidance on how to better present your business visually to the public? Social media and the ever changing algorithms confusing you? Well...

You may have heard of dKol Photography, and the commercial section, which assists local small businesses in re-branding their online presence. We can work with you to spotlight you, your staff and product, to take your business to a whole new level. We can assist you in stylizing and photographing your team, workplace and line up of services you provide. It can help showcase yourself and your business to its full potential. dKol offers website designs, branding/re-branding with photographs, a behind the scenes spotlight of you in action, and perhaps any additional needs you may have. I would love to sit down with you and talk in greater detail about ways we could collaborate to enhance the visual aesthetics of your website, social media sites and find a look to match each of the diverse public images that you represent.

dKol Believes-Part 4

Received a text earlier from Kerri. They got the test results back that they didn't want, their transfer was not successful.

I was so hopeful for them. It's sad. Feels unfair. But as with every step of this journey, there are tons of hurdles. And Kerri said it best today, "we are devastated, but will be strong again soon".

Their story goes on. I believe in the timing of it all.

To be continued.
